'Build Me Up': Orlando Soria helps empty nester Eileen and single woman Tamra fix their home issues

'Build Me Up' on HGTV returned with two back to back episodes tonight (July 29) on HGTV. It put the focus on two female homeowners: Eileen and Tamra, needing a change to their home. Orlando Soria is an interior designer who is heading these renovations and he worked closely with both these women to help to give them and their lives that much-needed push.

The first episode featured a divorced single mother Eileen who was experiencing empty nest syndrome as her only son Tanner prepared to jet off to college. She was in a relationship after her divorce, however, it didn't last due to various reasons. Eileen loves to entertain and is usually the host of Sunday Funday's wherein all her girlfriends gather for wine and gossip. Even though she hosted a couple of these gatherings at her house, she was aware that her space is exactly not conducive for entertaining and they shifted their meet-ups to restaurants. 

Tanner's room too was in dire need of an upgrade, his bathroom had no shower, his room was monochromatic, not in a good way. Eileen's bedroom too needed an upgrade. It featured a step-like fixture on the floor, leading up to her bed which divided her room into two parts which Orlando didn't appreciate, nor did she. Their kitchen overlooked a huge yard but it was not exactly designed in a welcoming style. 

In Tamra's case, her house was a beautiful Spanish style bungalow and she really cared about the architecture of her house and wasn't willing to make any changes that interfered with the 1920s inspired style at all. However, her house needed repairs in a lot of spaces and this was one of the reasons that she was almost embarrassed to bring anyone home and this wreaked havoc on her dating life. She loves cooking but her kitchen was built in a way that could accommodate just one person at a time. Her bathroom floor was lined with '80s style tiles and she hated them and so did Orlando. Another issue with her bathroom was the doors that didn't lock and she often heard her guests complaining about it. 

Orlando helped both these women fix all the above-listed issues with the help of his talented and efficient crew. To see the complete transformation catch the reruns at 12 am ET (July 30).
