BTS members are all slowly starting to embrace their solo careers and it seems like they have a lot going on for them post the announcement of the boy group's temporary hiatus from group activities. Ever since members told fans that the boy group was going to end their nine-year-long journey with their first anthology album 'Proof' and focus on solo gigs, fans of BTS V aka Kim Taehyung manifested an acting project for him. After he interacted with the director of the 2022 movie 'Broker' at its VIP Premiere, fans were sure there would be more of actor Taehyung in the days to come but the fashionista of the boy group first fulfilled his dreams of being BTS' fashion icon.

V departed for his trip to Paris to attend the SS 2023 Celine Menswear Collection show alongside big names like Blackpink's Lisa as well as his long-time friend and actor Park Bogum. Representing Celine at the event, V attended the show as well as its afterparty as splendid videos of him living his best life while trying his hand at pole dancing surfaced online. All was somewhat going well for the singer other than some minor mishaps here and there until the singer started getting called out for being "rude". Now fans have come online to defend the BTS member as they trend the phrase 'Always Trust Taehyung' on Twitter against Knetz who are making a mountain out of a molehill.

Knetz call BTS V rude for not greeting fans at the airport

On June 28, a video of BTS V leaving the airport from the private exit was released online. On the same day, similar videos of Blackpink's Lisa and actor Park Bogum surfaced online too and some fans started pointing out the stark difference between Lisa and Bogum's interaction with fans and the media waiting for them as compared to V's. Fans noticed how after leaving the airport, both Lisa and Bogum noticed the fans cheering on their right and immediately turned to greet them all as they posed for the cameras for a couple of seconds.

Meanwhile, the video featuring BTS V showed the singer leaving the airport gate in a rush as he entered his car in seconds without waiting to greet fans, not even looking in their direction. This has some fans of K-pop claiming that the BTS member had an attitude problem and did not respect his fans who waited for hours to get a glimpse of V aka Taehyung. All this had trolls on the internet calling him rude while BTS fans initially joked that Taehyung interactions in France were probably being discussed on BTS' group chat which is why the member was rushing home to explain himself to his members.

What initially did not matter to fans has now turned into an issue as trolls have started calling the BTS singer rude. One user said, "I love Tae to bits but I watched the Dispatch live stream, and I'm sorry to say that, tired or not, he was rude at the airport (and he knows it). He got in the van at the speed of light without even acknowledging the crowd, in sharp contrast with what Lisa and Bogum did." One more user said, "The difference in personality of Lisa and Bogum from Taehyung lol."

'I brought a gift for ARMYs'

As soon as the incident blew up on TikTok and Twitter, fans of BTS pointed out that the singer had not even waited five minutes before apologizing to fans via Weverse. Minutes after getting in the car, Taehyung made a post on BTS' official fan cafe saying, "Reporters, ARMY waited for a long time to see me right? I am sorry for getting in the car right away. I brought a gift for you." The singer then posted unseen photos of himself and the sky from his trip.

Moreover, fans claim that the singer rushed as his flight was delayed by two hours and he was late on his upcoming schedule which is why he was rushing. One fan said, "According to Kmedia, Taehyung's flight was set to arrive at 8:55am but he landed only after 12:20pm due to a delayed. Hence, Taehyung left the airport in a hurry. He came to weverse to comfort fans and reporters by sharing beautiful pictures he took. Kmedia thinks that either he is later for a schedule or he was very tired. Either way, they are very supportive of him."

'He doesn't deserve all the hate'

More fans are rushing to defend BTS V as they trend the phrase 'Always Trust Taehyung' on Twitter. One fan said, "Hybe has never publicly defended Taehyung from any kind of rumour, so I doubt they'll make any kind of statement about Taehyung being "rude" to the press and fans (cuz it's not the first time)"

Another fan defended, "Armys bro taehyung was up for like 3 days straight and was most likely very hungover and mfs were mad at him for going straight in the car." One more fan said, "It's funny how kpopies said taehyung has a bad attitude just bc he get right away to the car and didn't say hi to the camera especially tikt*k kpopies."

Another fan said, "THE REASONS WHY I ALWAYS TRUST TAEHYUNG." One fan clarified, "V did wave for the fans who was waiting for him through his car window before leaving, he doesn't deserve all the hate that his getting right now, this is what happens when some people judge that easily without knowing the whole truth."

One more fan pointed out, "Taehyung always got the biggest misunderstood cuz people rather judging, overanalyzing and putting their own narrative on him instead of listen and learn to know him. He’s just sweet, kind and considerate human."
