SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: The biggest boy group in the world, BTS, is taking a much-needed break with some moments of showing up with content for their dedicated fanbase, ARMY. Now as the first solo debut from BTS' Chapter 2 with J-Hope releasing 'Jack In The Box' is over, fans are anticipating the next big release from the boy group. With their eyes set on RM (Kim Namjoon) and Jimin from spoilers that the two idols posted on their respective Instagram handles, fans wonder what the oldest-born Jin (Kim Seokjin) has in store for fans. 

Over the last month, there had been a lot of buzz about Jin making an acting debut. From a rookie Jin talking about how he always wanted to be an actor to an older and much more confident Jin attending movie premieres for his actor friends like Kim Nam-gil and Jung Woo-sung over the last month. Fans of Jin have been vocal about how they want to see the oldest member of BTS make his acting debut. It seems like the word has finally reached to Jin himself and looks like a lot of hearts are about to be broken as the steady vocalist opens up about his anticipated acting debut.

Jin responds to fans clarifying his rumored acting debut

Jin loves to play with fans over Weverse, the official fan cafe of the boy group, but the fandom has seen the BTS member shut down fans when things get a little too serious. On August 18, Jin was online on Weverse when a fan asked when they will be able to see the idol make an acting debut. To this, the singer politely turned down the fan and at the same time, shut down all rumors that stated was going to be seen as an actor. 

The fan asked, "Since Seokjin is on Weverse, I want to ask again. When will Seokjin make an acting debut?" The idol responded by saying, "Not sure..." He added, "Lately there have been rumors I am acting, but I don't have anything planned at all." Jin further quashes hopes of fans wanting to see him as an actor saying, "It hasn't even come to my mind yet." From what Jin says, it seems as though fans will have to wait a lot before seeing the idol make an acting debut. However, fans are getting other content from Jin in the form of his collab with the game, MapleStory has been released as of August 18.

After Jin's recent confession about his acting plans, fans are sharing supportive messages for the idol saying they were happy with whatever Jin wanted to do with his career and that they would support him no matter what. One fan said, "Whatever you want to do baby. We are here for you! And for everyone else makj g this an issue and irked when army hype him up with Actor Jin. FU. Why don’t we see this as in an encouraging light instead of a pressure?" One more fan said, "His choices only His happiness only that's all that matters to me whatever he wants whenever he wants and whatever makes him happy We love you Jin." Another fan said, "You can do whatever you want Jin! Whatever makes you happy! Army will always support you and love you." One fan said, "Do what you want Jin! Whatever you do I’ll support."

One more fan said, "People who don't support him in his music career pretending to be excited for his future "acting"gig is just fcking hilarious to me. You dgaf about him as an actor,just say it's another thing you can use to brag in your soloser fights & go.Stop using Jin for your twisted fantasies." Another fan said, "People change.
