Fans slam Britney Spears' EVIL dad after lawyer claims he's moved to unseal her medical records

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Even after Britney Spears broke free of her conservatorship and is trying to enjoy her post-marital bliss with husband Sam Asghari, it seems like controversies can’t leave her alone. Britney's lawyer has revealed in a new court filing that her father, Jamie Spears, is trying to unveil all her confidential medical records to take his “revenge”.

The pop star’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, has argued in a new motion that Jamie, 70, had “sunk to a new low” with yet another “regrettable — and mean-spirited — attempt to bully, harass and intimidate his own daughter,” according to a Page Six report.

On July 22, Jamie’s lawyer, Alex Weingarten tried placing his argument in a motion that Britney, 40, should be deposed officially by court and also included some of the Grammy winner’s previously unsealed medical records as exhibits in an attempt to make it public. Weingarten in his quote to Page Six said, “There is no part of this that is an effort to leak records to the public. There is a procedure that you must follow to file documents under seal of the court, and that is the procedure we followed. What would happen, if we ever get the deposition and there were ever legitimately confidential information, then it would be shielded from public view.”

Despite Weingarten claiming that his filing was routine procedure, Rosengart immediately pointed out the date of Jamie’s lawyers filing is a telling sign of the Spears patriarch’s vile and vested motives behind this move. For those who are unaware, Rosengart in his petition counter-attacking Weingarten’s claims had said, “By then, Mr. Spears was well-aware that this court had issued a tentative ruling on July 13, 2022, to deny his motion and knew very well that this court would resolve the issue of Ms. Spears’ deposition on July 27, 2022.”
 
Furthermore he also added, “Consequently, Mr. Spears can have no purpose in seeking to render the conditionally sealed materials public other than undertaking his purported ‘vindication’ and revenge plot against his own daughter. It is shameful.”

As soon as fans saw this news, they lashed out at Jamie’s father. “He can't do that. That's against the law. #defamation,” said a fan. “Her Dad is evil!,” said another fan. “Why is it even on the table making people’s medical records vulnerable to public scrutiny and a tool to extort/intimidate???? All medical records should be private by default!,” another fan added. “What kind of father is that? God that man is so disgusting,” a fan noted. “That LITERALLY is no one business. and still, if they were to leak, I would blame the 13 years of mental torture they placed on her... and god knows how long shes going to recover from,” a fan shared. “I don't think Jamie Spears and the lot realize.... They could reveal absolutely anything and that still gives no one the right to her autonomy unless she's an immediate danger to herself or others. They just want to air out her dirty laundry and they are gross for it,” a fan said.
