Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have been together for many years after the 40-year-old singer went through a series of high-profile breakups that included a split from Justin Timberlake in 2002, which followed two unsuccessful marriages — to Jason Alexander as well as to Kevin Federline in 2004. Asghari is reported to have been very supportive of Spears as she went through a tough legal battle for freedom from conservatorship with her father Jamie Spears.
Earlier, a source had told Page Six, “He [Asghari] helps boost her confidence and assures her that everything will go well,” before adding he “always tells Britney how much she’s loved and supported by fans.”

Now, it has been said that the two love birds are going for the forever as they will tie the knot on Thursday, June 9, in a very private function. The wedding ceremony reportedly won’t see over 100 people and the ‘In the Zone’ singer’s family is also not invited. It’s also not known yet who will walk her down the aisle before she says yes to Asghari.
Spears and Asghari got engaged in September last year and announced their pregnancy in April 2022. But last month, the pair shared some devastating news. The ‘Crossroads’ star suffered a miscarriage and in a social media statement, the couple wrote: “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
Who is Sam Asghari?
Asghari is reportedly an Iranian, who was born in Tehran in March 1994 as the youngest of four kids. When he was just two, his father shifted to the US and ten years later, Asghari also came to the States without his sisters – Maddy, Ellie, and Faye – and mother, Fatima. In an interview with Men's Health, he said: “I had to leave my friends and family who I was very close with, and I knew I was moving away and never coming back.”
Later, Asghari studied criminal justice at Los Angeles Pierce College and “worked three jobs to support himself”. But soon he realized his calling and “signed up for Gold’s Smart Nutrition course, which taught him about nutrition, anatomy, and personal training. And he taught himself about fitness by watching YouTube videos,” Men's Health reported.
The 28-year-old went on to become a personal trainer. In 2015, his sister Faye - who was in the US by that time - advised him to model for fashion designer Michael Costello, who was a close pal. He told Men's Health: “I was a very masculine guy — I played football and was in the police academy. At the time, my Sunday best was basketball shorts. My sister said, ‘I will take you to this audition, just come with me.’”
There was no looking back after that. In 2016, he got his first commercial – a Super Bowl ad for Toyota Prius. He also got featured in two music videos that year -- Fifth Harmony’s ‘Work From Home’ and Spears’ ‘Slumber Party.’” During ‘Slumber Party’, Spears met Asghari and “before the end of the shoot, they exchanged phone numbers. That turned into an invite to go out for sushi, and the rest is history.”
