‘Bridezillas’: Roshonda’s maid of honor calls her traitor for not supporting mom, reminds her of Kyle’s cheating
Bride Roshonda and groom Kyle’s wedding date was inching closer and nothing was in place. On the December 3 episode of ‘Bridezillas’ of WEtv, we found out everything that went down before the couple said, “I do.”
Roshonda (32) and Kyle (32) visit wedding planner Cheryl and when the bride was asked what kind of music she wanted, she had no answer. When the groom was asked if the payment would be through credit card, he also didn’t have an answer. At this point, people tend to lean on friends and family for help and support, but Roshonda is not one of those people. Earlier, we saw Roshonda kick her cousin and mother out of her house when they wanted to stay with her before the wedding. Even though her behavior was extremely tacky, she pulled it again when she found out another cousin Tameka had come over and was staying at her place. When Roshonda reached home she kicked Tameka out and yelled at her fiancee for not showing her more support. Tameka was offended as she gathered her stuff and left.
Two days before her wedding, Roshonda threw a bachelorette party (sort of) and also did her makeup trial for the wedding at the same time. Her maid-of-honor Amethiya came over and so did the cousins she kicked out. Once Roshonda’s mom was over, the discussion very quickly went on whether or not it was a good idea to call Roshonda’s stepfather to the wedding given the fact he cheated on her mother.
The discussion quickly turned into a brawl and we discovered that Kyle used to be married to another woman and he cheated on her multiple times. Roshonda’s maid-of-honor called her a traitor and told her that given her circumstances she should be more understanding of her mother’s situation. Out of nowhere, Kyle popped into the room and told everyone to stop the discussion.
On Roshonda’s wedding day, her mom went missing. Even after several calls, Roshonda was not able to reach her. What happened next was Roshonda broke into a hysterical cry and had a solid breakdown. The thought that her mother might not come to the wedding at all made her extremely upset. But everything was good again when mama finally arrived and hugged her daughter.
Roshonda’s father and stepfather both walked her down the aisle but the drama was not over. Very soon Roshonda realized she forgot to get the ring for her fiance. The maid-of-honor didn’t have the ring either and one of her bridesmaids quickly rushed inside to find it. Thankfully, she was able to quickly find the ring before Kyle got more frustrated.
The couple had a beautiful wedding ceremony and were finally married. 'Bridezillas' airs on Thursdays at 10 pm ET on WeTV.
