The term "bridezilla" was first used in 1995 by writer Diane White in an article about tacky brides who make ridiculous requests for their wedding party. The term became popular in 2004 when WeTV debuted 'Bridezillas' – a snarkily narrated reality TV show, showcasing the antics and demands of unhinged brides across the US.

Weddings can be really stressful, especially for a bride. Although no one would blame them for getting a little upset, some exceed the acceptable amount of anger and turn into total bridezillas. Nothing can turn a beautiful day like a wedding into a complete horror show quite like a bridezilla. WeTV’s official twitter handle posted the preview of the next ‘Bridezillas’ episode that will air on Thursday, November 26.

In the last episode we saw how bride Roshonda got unhappy when her cousin/bridesmaid turned up at her house to help her with the wedding. She screamed at her mother for letting her into the house. She then kicked her cousin out and said, “I don’t need another person sucking up the air, eating my food.” When her mother, Susan, tried to put some sense into her saying, “She’s family, she ain’t going anywhere,” Roshonda kicked her mom out too. Theresa said Roshonda was being "a complete b***h" and both Susan and she left.

We also saw Roshonda being persistent in calling her stepfather to the wedding and giving her away after he and her mom had a major fallout. Apparently, her stepfather had cheated on her mother during a voyage on a cruise with another woman, while Susan was also present on the same boat. Roshonda said she felt her wedding could bring them together, but Loni Love’s voice goes: “That cruise has sailed.”

In the preview, we see Susan talking to her daughter about the whole incident, and saying how he had brought the other woman on the cruise and introduced her as a co-worker. Susan said she doesn’t want him in the wedding saying, “What kind of a mess is that?” Roshonda says, “I want you to put your personal feelings aside.” She further tells on camera, “There are two sides to every story.”

It would be interesting to know why Roshonda is taking her stepfather’s side more than her own mother. 'Bridezillas' airs on Thursdays at 10 pm ET on WeTV.
