Willi Cohen, 24, is Jewish, and her fiancé, Cameron Heinen, 28,  is Christian and they have been in love for almost five years now. They have been living in Willi's parent's house for a while, which indicates that her folks are aware of Cameron's religion. So, why make it a big deal now?

In this week's episode of 'Bride and Prejudice: Forbidden Love', the couples and their parents were invited for a session with expert Calvin Roberson so that everyone could be on to the same page. However, it didn't turn out to be as expected when Willi looked her father in the eye and said that she doesn't want Cameron to convert.

This came as a shocker and more so because he had hoped Willi to take him up on his wish to have Jewish grandkids. The parents are not essentially against Cameron but they do want him to convert into Judaism.

However, that is not an option for Cameron who had a clear discussion with Willi about it. He asked her if she sees them being happy in the future with him continuing with his religion, and she said yes.

Clearly, the couple is in love and willing to make it work at all costs. But the parents may have a tough time giving up on their hopes and dreams just so that they can make space for a relationship in their lives. It's a tough spot for both the parties, but maybe they can talk it out and come to a middle ground?

Meanwhile, fans are proud of Willi for standing up for herself and Cameron and putting her foot down.

"Willi and Cameron have a solid relationship yes. But that religion and family factor is a big one. When one talks about faith, that can be a major focal point. Proud of Willi of putting her foot down, but converting Cameron might be a no #BrideAndPrejudice," a viewer wrote.

"Yay for willi and cam standing their ground #brideandprejudice," one fan shared while another noted, "Best thing I could say is: do what’s best for you cause at the end of the day, it’s your happiness in the long run."
