LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney and producer John Battsek have collaborated on a two-part documentary series about the legendary tennis player Boris Becker. 'Boom! Boom! The World vs Boris Becker' series delves into the life of the former Wimbledon champion who made history by winning the tournament at the young age of 17. The documentary covers Becker's high-profile and tumultuous personal life, including his recent legal troubles for hiding assets to avoid paying his debts.
Filmed over three years with exclusive access to Becker, the documentary includes personal interviews with the protagonist, as well as his immediate family and other tennis greats such as John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Novak Djokovic, Mats Wilander, and Michael Stich.
