Who is Allison Vest?
Allison Vest is a classically trained artist who makes sure to apply her knowledge in color and design in the medical field. Vest attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, receiving her Masters of Science in Biomedical Visualization. She also received clinical training at the dental school at the University of Florida Dental School, as well as the Morriston Hospital in Swansea, Wales.
The unique Master's program she received her degree from combines art, medical, and material sciences in order to create a uniquely trained professional. Her diverse experiences in the medical field will help further elevate the level of care that Vest provides to all of her patients.
As of 2005, Vest has been working in McKinney, Texas, in her very own private practice, called Mosaic Prosthetics. Being the proud owner of this specialized clinic, Vest takes immense pride in the level of care and dedication she brings to not just her profession, but to her patients as well, each of whom receives personalized one-on-one care.
In addition, Vest served on the Board for Certification in Clinical Anaplastology between 2012 and 2019. She was also the president from 2017 to 2018 and is currently the Vice President of the International Anaplastology Association.
In Vest's words, walking into her office probably feels like walking into a "mad scientist’s lab". "On one table, you might see some fingers hanging out, another table, you might see some ears, you really never know what you’re going to find in an anaplastology office," she said in a promo video.
'Body Parts' premieres on April 6, 2022, at 10 pm ET, only on TLC.
