Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins) from Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho' has been immortalized in people's memories. You don't forget the eye twitches, the nervous smiles and... Well, the way he dressed up in his mother's clothes before killing his victims. For the unversed, Norman Bates had an unhealthy relationship with his mother, so toxic, that he was furious when he found her in bed with another man. And so he killed her. Due to his overwhelming guilt, he began to wear her clothes and began to believe that she was still alive, thus, splitting into two personalities.

Fans are getting the same vibes from ABC's latest thriller show 'Big Sky'. Creepy truck driver Ronald Pergman (Brian Geraghty) has a weird relationship with his mother. They have a rather peculiar conversation, as she clearly mollycoddles him and calls him 'booboo'. He tells her to go make his favorite dishes, and get the house ready. One possible theory is, that as it's still the premiere of the show – the story could go anywhere. Could the mother be a figment of his imagination and another one of his victims? Anything's possible.

"As soon as I saw that Valerie Mahaffey was playing this dude's mom, I just knew he was going to be psycho and, to be honest, I don’t blame him #BigSky," a fan tweeted. Others called him the Norman Bates of Montana. "So, “Norman Bates” has mother issues & is full-on psycho. This is why I don’t live in isolated small towns with gorgeous mountains & scenery. That’s where the serial killers in training dwell. #BigSky," a fan wrote. "Trucker boy is giving off Norman Bates meets crazy ex-boyfriend plus Investigation Discovery vibes #BigSky," a fan tweeted.

"Dude is giving me major Norman Bates vibes even tho his momma is still alive. #BigSky," a fan tweeted. "Lot Lizards. Creepy Sheriff. Possible underage girls traveling by themselves. Norman Bates. Infidelity. #BigSky," a fan tweeted, aptly describing the show.

Meanwhile, our Norman Bates of Montana is busy chasing two young girls who are on holiday to Montana. What's going to happen to them and will they be saved in time?

'Big Sky' airs on ABC Tuesdays at 10 pm.
