'Big Sky' is downright maddening and there's no other way to rephrase it. It's Episode 3, and we already know who the big bads are — Ronald and Rick Legarski (John Carroll-Lynch). We also know what happened to Cody Hoyt (Ryan Phillippe), but detectives Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick) and Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury) are still trying to find out what happened to their missing lover.

Well, that secret lies at the bottom of the ditch, courtesy Legarski. Cutting to the chase, Grace (Jade Petty John) makes her escape from Ronald's misery dungeon out into the open. Don't cheer. She meets a good fisherman, who promises to help her, but oh no, what are the odds that Legarski shows up at that same spot in the middle of woods?

So he shoots the fisherman (duh) with a bow and arrow and shoots Grace in the leg too, so she can't escape. The poor fisherman is dunked in a body bag in acid. Legarski carries her back to the truck, and for some reason, Jerrie (Jesse James Keitel) seems to think that he has come to rescue all of them. Why would you think that?

Danielle (Natalie Alyn Lind) and Jerrie are not the brightest bulbs in the shop because they try attacking Ron (Brian Geraghty), and of course, he tasers them. When are they going to realise that they need to get that weapon away from him, if they want to run free? Have to agree with Ronald here when he angrily tells them that they never learn. Seriously, guys.

Meanwhile, moving away from the women-in-peril trope, we come to Cassie and Jenny, who know something is completely off about Cody, and that he just might be dead, for all they know. They team up and vow to find the missing girls, and get to the bottom of understanding Legarski's peculiar behavior. The next episode promises to be another wild ride, as they seem to have found something.

Except...girls, can you just be smart about this and not end up at the bottom of the ditch too? Thanks. Ronald's mom is onto him, and she knows that her son might have something to do with the missing women... so she might be in a body bag too, at the end of the episode next week.

Delightful. Have fun, folks. Tune into 'Big Sky' on Tuesdays at 10 pm on ABC.
