'Big Mouth' returned for its Season 4 on Netflix and this time, we followed the group of teenagers from summer camp into eighth grade. With the introduction of the new hormone monster, Tito the Anxiety Mosquito (Maria Bamford) who takes all of them for a ride, the show focused on fear and anxiety this season, among other usual things. Of key focus, this season apart from puberty and sex was also self-acceptance, consent, masturbation and coming out of the closet. So what is next on Season 5 of 'Big Mouth'? What will the show about teenage hormones that is equal parts funny and informative have in store in the upcoming Season 5?

Release date

There is no official release date for Season 5 yet, but it will be coming sometime towards the end of 2021. Netflix has confirmed the show for Seasons 5 and 6 even before season 3 hit the streaming site last year. So there is no worry about cancellations anytime soon. 

Plot

Netflix's edgy adult animated comedy focuses on two real-life best friends Nick and Andrew as they live their everyday lives with their hormone monsters. If you thought coming-of-age was an easy journey, let us remind you that it is everything but teenage hormones are hardly reliable. The show tackles adolescent issues, it does so with a unique blend of humour, drama and even musicals. Each season deals with the main cast dealing with old and new issues like anxiety in the latest season 4. Plot details about Season 5 aren't revealed yet. Cast

Nick Kroll voices the character of Nick Birch. The creator also voices Maurice, Coach Steve, Rick, and Lola, who had a very impressive arc in Season 4. John Mulaney voices Andrew Glouberman, Nick's best friend. Jessi Klein voices Jessi Glaser and Jason Mantzoukas voices Jay Bilzerian. From Season 4 onwards, Ayo Edebiri will be playing Missy Foreman-Greenwald. Fred Armisen voices Elliot Birch and Maya Rudolph voices Connie and Diane Birch. New additions to the cast of season 5 will be added to this list as and when they are revealed.
