'Big Brother' Season 26: Lisa Weintraub confesses love for Quinn Martin ahead of AI Arena
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On 'Big Brother' Season 26, another potential showmance is facing trouble. Lisa Weintraub recently confessed her feelings for Quinn Martin, just as the game heats up. With Makensy Manbeck and Matt Hardeman's romance coming to an end after Matt's elimination, Lisa’s relationship with Quinn is now under scrutiny.
Lisa, who is currently on the eviction block, has been open about her feelings for Quinn. She made her confession ahead of the crucial AI Arena competition, with the threat of eviction looming, Lisa is worried about her position in the house and how her confession might affect her chances of staying.
Ahead of the AI arena, Lisa said, "Quinn, I love you. I think you’re amazing. Everyone thinks you’re amazing. The truth matters.” Quinn quickly quipped, "Thank you.” "Honestly stand up for yourself in whatever you think you have to," Lisa added, to which Quinn replied, "I’m not getting into an argument with a lady who is old.”
Quinn Martin forms alliance to save from nominations
Quinn Martin has been strategically building alliances to ensure his safety in the game. Understanding the importance of strong connections, Quinn has formed multiple alliances to cover his bases and navigate the complex social dynamics of the house.
One of Quinn's primary alliances is with T'Kor Clottey, Cedric Hodges, and Cam Sullivan-Brown. They have an informal agreement to look out for one another, aiming to make it to the jury stage together. Quinn is also a key member of a larger alliance called The Pentagon, which includes Chelsie Baham, Brooklyn Rivera, and two other houseguests. This alliance was formed to control nominations and evictions, with Quinn playing a significant role in their strategy sessions.
To further secure his position, Quinn has been building smaller, more personal connections with other houseguests. He spends time bonding with his fellow Have Nots and has formed a close alliance with T'Kor and Kimo Apaka, known as The Visionaries.
Who won the veto power this week on 'Big Brother'?
The Power of Veto competition was crucial this week. Six houseguests participated: Chelsie Baham, who was the current Head of Household, along with her three nominees Kenney Kelley, Angela Murray, and Lisa Weintraub, as well as Brooklyn Rivera and Joseph Rodriguez, who were drawn to compete.
The competition, called "Code Tower," required players to build a tower of blocks tall enough to reach a laser. Kenney Kelley quickly found a sturdy base and built his tower faster than the others, securing the win. His victory in the Power of Veto competition meant that he could remove himself from the block and avoid eviction.
Kenney's win left Chelsie with the task of naming a replacement nominee. After considering her options and wanting to avoid drawing a line in the sand too early, she chose Tucker Des Lauriers as the replacement nominee. This move kept her main targets, Angela and Lisa, on the block while adding Tucker to the mix.
