'Big Brother' Season 22: Has Dani put a target on her back by nominating Tyler for eviction?
'Big Brother' Season 22 may have started off slow but the subsequent twists and drama have just started to show. Dani Briones was the Head of the Household (HOH) this week and naturally, it fell on her to use her power to nominate housemates for eviction. It was Kevin Campbell and David Alexander at first. Then David secretly used his one-time power to save himself to get off the block. Dani then was forced to nominate another contestant, which had to be Tyler Crispen.
Dani and Tyler have a history. He tried to throw her under the bus but the two talked it out when she won the HOH competition. Dani assured him he was safe but played her game when the time arrived. Her voting out Tyler shocked the alliance. Everyone was stunned that Dani would choose someone from the group. Christmas Abbott, in her confessional, pointed out that Dani could have easily picked another name from outside the group.
Later, right before the Veto competition, Dani requested Da'Vonne to not change the nominees that are on the block if she wins the veto. Although Da'Vonne promised to keep Kevin and Tyler on the block, soon after she won the competition, she changed her mind. Da'Vonne was only looking out for herself. If she can keep Kevin safe then they will become a duo, which will help them survive the game for a little while.
Finally, Da'Vonne decided to save Kevin, Dani was forced to nominate for the fourth time and this time it was Ian Terry. Did Dani put a target on her back by picking people on the block from her own group? Possibly.
The viewers are upset with Dani's decision but they seem to be more affected by the fact that Nicole Franzel shed tears for him. They are surprised that Nicole would cry for the same person she laughed at with Memphis Garrett, Christmas and Dani. Ian's autism was made fun of. Memphis said his demeanor was that of a horror film while Dani shared that she moves every time Ian starts pacing because it stresses her out.
