If you are one of those who are still crying over what happened in the previous episode of ‘Better Call Saul’, then you are not alone. A lot of people have shared the same sentiment and can’t seem to forget that they witnessed the end of Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn). In one of the most devastating moments in the show’s history, Kim left Saul after saying that they both are “toxic” to each other and for everyone around them.

What happened next completely broke everyone’s heart and we saw Kim making her final appearance on the show. As we know, Kim doesn’t appear in the ‘Breaking Bad’ universe, so everyone feels that the character is now a thing of the past and won’t be seen in the remaining episode. The show took a time-up at the end of Episode 9 and saw Saul becoming one of the finest lawyers in Albuquerque, but Kim was nowhere to be seen. Does that mean that Kim is finally far away from the mess that the duo made over the years? Actor Rhea Seehorn has some interesting thoughts about it.

Seehorn, who portrays Kim on the show, addressed whether her character will be seen in the remaining four episodes of the AMC series. The actor didn’t give a clear answer to the aforementioned query by Entertainment Weekly, but she feels that she certainly felt that her big moment with Jimmy was an ending in its own right.

Seehorn said, “I can't say if we see her again. And even the fans that were savvy enough to figure out when I was in Albuquerque and when I was not — we shot a lot of stuff out of sequence, whether it was locations or weather or COVID[-19] or whatever. So there was no telling when somebody wrapped, or what that meant in the story sequentially. So I'm not going to speak to whether or not we will see her again and in what capacity.”

Her answer still teases the possibility of Kim making an appearance on the show.
However, she feels that Kim deciding to leave Jimmy and quitting law is actually an “ending in its own right”. She added, “It's painful. And it was a terrible punch to the gut when I had to play it.”

Fans were speculating for a while now that Kim might leave Saul at the end of the season, but they never thought that it would come so soon in the final season. Now that Jimmy’s transition to Saul is completed, it will be interesting to see how Kim enters the picture if she indeed makes an entrance. She doesn’t appear in ‘Breaking Bad’, does that mean that she stayed far away from Saul or something worse will happen to her in the ending moments of the sixth and final season.

Nevertheless, Kim Wexler has made Seehorn earn her first-ever Primetime Emmy nomination and will be competing against the likes of Julia Garner (‘Ozark’), Sarah Snook (‘Succession’), HoYeon Jong (‘Squid Game’), J. Smith-Cameron (‘Succession’), Christina Ricci (‘Yellowjackets’), Patricia Arquette (‘Severance’), and Sydney Sweeney (‘Euphoria’) in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.
