‘Below Deck’: Simone is totally crushing on crew member Tanner, claims he's 'totally her type'
While Tanner Sterback’s attempts at going on a date with chief stew Kate Chastain fell flat, he doesn’t really have much to worry about as another cast member has a huge crush on him. Simone Mashile revealed in the sneak peek clip of the upcoming episode that she has a crush on Tanner and he is “totally her type”.
She can be seen telling her co-worker, Courtney that she really has to focus on her breathing when he is around and that she’s totally into him. In the earlier episodes, we saw Simone gently make her moves on Tanner. While he was sick she kept trying to help him and when he wasn’t attending the night out with the crew members at the end of their charter, Simone can be seen telling that she doesn’t want to go out without Tanner. We will have to wait and watch to see if the deckhand will reciprocate Simone’s feelings.
Simone and Tanner’s isn’t the only budding romance of this season. Ashton Pienaar and Brian too are competing to win Courtney’s affection. Although Ashton doesn’t appear to be making much progress, Brian seems to be slowly getting into Courtney’s good books.
While Simone is busy chasing Tanner, one of the charter guests seems to have taken a liking for her and can be seen flirting with her, while she looks uncomfortable. After slogging away in the laundry room for most of the earlier charters, Simone is finally brought back into the service section by Kate. Simone is responsible for serving the guests their drinks and making sure they are comfortable, but unfortunately one of the guests seems to getting a bit too comfortable to her dismay.
