'Below Deck': Are Francesca and Eddie responsible for Elizabeth and Shane's errors? Fans say 'train them more'

Viewers are of the opinion that both Eddie and Francesca need to step up their game. It is their fault if their teammates are failing at their jobs

Running a luxury yacht is not easy, especially when the charter guests are demanding. The primary focus is to ensure that the guests are happy and their every need is met. While at it, the team serving the yacht should also remember to shoulder their other responsibilities, of which taking care and maintenance of the vessel takes the top spot.

Shane Coopersmith, who is new to the industry, has been struggling to adjust to the ever-moving, fast-paced nature of his job as a deckhand. What adds to his worries is his equation with bosun Eddie Lucas, who seems to be running out of patience with the kid. Recently, he took a nap in the middle of the day without informing Eddie because he was too tired from inadequate sleep. Eddie didn't call him out on it (as he mentioned he would in his confessional) but left with a warning of sorts. But Shane goofed up again when he went to bed without locking the lazarette door. Captain Lee Rosbach was made aware of this incident and from the looks of it, strict action may be taken against Shane.

On the other hand, Francesca is finding it increasingly tough tackling Elizabeth Frankini's "messy" way of working. She has been instructing and giving directions to her stew to get work done, which is only adding to the discomfort the entire team shares already. While Francesca is over Elizabeth's way of doing things, the latter feels she is being personally attacked by her superior.

Meanwhile, fans are of the opinion that both Eddie and Francesca need to step up their game. It is their fault if their teammates are failing at their jobs and that they need to give them enough training.

"Francesca failed to delegate & train the first two charters, and Elizabeth doesn’t like to be micromanaged though she clearly needs it. Interior is sure to be messy all season #BelowDeck," a fan commented, while another shared: "Elizabeth may be messy but it doesn't explain away Francesca's screw ups. As a Chief Stew she has no organization and wants a hands off approach with everything #BelowDeck."

"Is it possible Eddie and Francesca are not doing enough training or making the rules clear which is why Elizabeth and Shane keep messing up? #BelowDeck," a user pointed out, while another posted: "That was bad, if I was Eddie I would have taped a sign to their bedroom door so he always remembers since that’s going to be his responsibility."
