'Below Deck': Will Adam entertain charter guest Lyndi's advances and split with Jenna?
Chef Adam Glick and chief stewardess Jenna MacGillivray's relationship hasn't exactly been breezy ever since it set sail. The couple has had to wade through a handful of issues before they could be confident to introduce themselves as a pair to the world.
However, in tonight's episode of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht, it's all set to go sideways after the charter guests — a group of social media influencers — express a liking, a crush of sorts, toward Adam.
The guests are at dinner and while Jenna serves them food, Lyndi Kennedy, a lifestyle blogger and wardrobe consultant, appears to get tipsy and tells she loves Adam (in jest), to which boyfriend Jesse Thompkins reacts fiercely. However, Lyndi doesn't seem affected by it. She says: "I'll do what Adam tells me to do."
Curious and shocked, Jesse asks if she is interested in someone else, she can tell him now. Jenna overhears the discussion and is totally taken aback because it was her boyfriend they were discussing and as far as she is concerned, Adam is "off the table."
At the beginning of their relationship, the two brushed a lot under the carpet, which resulted in a meltdown and Jenna wept and cried, while Adam stormed off in a fit of rage.
However, the couple is not holding back anymore and that shows commitment. Jenna was quick to share with Adam how the ladies were enquiring about him, wanting to meet up with him in the galley while their boyfriends bonded over drinks on the deck. Adam listened and was quick to assure that he wouldn't lean that way.
Jenna and Adam may be in a good place at the moment but relationships can be fragile. At the beginning of the season, Adam, in one of his confessionals, had said how he gets quickly infatuated with someone. So, will he get attracted to Lyndi and later split with Jenna? Only time will tell.
But, from the looks of it, the couple will have a heated discussion about it. In the preview, Adam shuts the door behind him and has an argument with someone, possibly Jenna because the face isn't shown. Let's hope, like the past, they are able to resolve this chink in their relationship's armor as well.
