Raygan blames 'food poisoning' for missing work, 'Below Deck Med' fans say 'you're clearly hungover'

Raygan, the new bosun on 'Below Deck Mediterranean' is turning out to be the most unorganized bosun ever on the show. Fans and crew watched in frustration as Raygan continued to shrug off her responsibilities to take constant smoke breaks. After the rough first charter where guests directly criticized Raygan, the bosun decided to unwind on the first night out and have some fun.

The bosun drank a little too much, causing a terrible hangover. Owing to her hangover, Raygan couldn't get out of bed and skipped work. The deck team had to figure out what to do and it was absolute chaos without a leader guiding them. Captain Sandy Yawn noticed it and pulled Raygan aside and asked her where she was while her team was struggling. Raygan explained that she was sick. Captain Sandy took one look at Raygan and realized that it was a hangover, and pointed it out. Instead of just admitting it, the bosun tried to talk her way out of it by blaming food poisoning.

Fans were left feeling amused watching Raygan blame food poisoning for her inefficiency. Many fans took to Twitter to roast Raygan over it. A fan tweeted, "Captain Sandy is having your bullsh*t Raygan. Don't try to say that you have food poisoning when you're clearly hungover. #BelowDeckMed." "Not raygan trying to make out like her hangover was food poisoning as an excuse for why she couldn't get her a** out of bed. #BelowDeckMed #BelowDeck," wrote a fan. "I know she didn't just say it could be food poisoning to the captain #BelowDeckMed," commented a fan. "*Food poisoning*? Just her and nobody else? We already know not to argue with Capt Sandy, but LIE to her? Girl is burning her own bridge with @CaptSandyYawn. #BelowDeckMed," pointed out a fan. 

Later Captain Sandy pulled Raygan aside and explained that she needed to be more organized to earn the trust of her team. Raygan once again got defensive and claimed that she was struggling to try to figure out her team's weaknesses, and working with them. Captain Sandy disagreed with her and declared that Raygan needed to figure out her weakness and that the team was fine. Fans sided with Captain Sandy, and hoped for Raygan to be fired soon.

'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 7 airs on Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. Peacock will offer early access to Season 7 with new episodes dropping one-week early beginning Monday, July 4.
