'Below Deck': Are Malia and Tom getting married? The two discuss spending life together while clubbing in Ibiza
Malia White may not have been too keen to get boyfriend Tom Checketts onboard The Wellington crew but looks like them sharing a cabin and spending time, albeit at work, has started to work wonders for them as a couple. In this week's episode of 'Below Deck Mediterranean,' we see the team blow off some steam at a club in Ibiza, Spain. On the surface, it looks like just another party but a lot is about to go down on the relationships front.
As Jessica More experiences a tough time understanding Robert Westergaard's intentions, Tom and Malia love up, hug and kiss each other. Not just that, they even discuss future goals, albeit briefly. "We should get married," Tom said and Malia replied with: "I'd marry you." This isn't a shocking development though. They have been in a serious relationship for a while now, and so, this step seems only natural.
But will they be able to see through it?
In a recent chat with Andy Cohen, Malia said that Tom is special and that was why she was not very keen on having him on the same boat as her. She has had to deal with a lot when it came to boat romances. Her relationships with Adam Glick and Wesley Walton were a wreck and didn't survive once the season was over.
What she has with Tom appears to be special and something she protects with all her heart. But is he the one? When Andy asked if marriage was on the cards, she said she wasn't a fan of marriage but she'll stay with Tom as long as she can. "I don’t know. I’m not a huge fan of marriage,” Malia said and added: “But yeah, I want to be with him as long as I can.”
While Malia and Tom's romance blossoms, Jessica and Robert's equation is going downhill. Jessica has been having trouble accepting that Robert would text his ex back while going out with her at the same time. Let's hope this couple survives this uncertain and tough phase of their lives.
