A24 has been one of the most-bankable production houses in recent years and with movies such as ‘Hereditary’, ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’, and ‘The Whale’, it has made a lot of impact in the entertainment industry. The poster shows what seems to be the child version of Phoenix’s character, dressed in a silk night suit. The first look also confirms that the movie has received a new title. When A24 announced the film, it was titled ‘Disappointment Blvd’ and now it has been changed to ‘Beau Is Afraid’.

The film will be written and directed by Ari Aster, who is known for making blockbuster movies such as ‘Hereditary’ and ‘Midsommar’. Even though all the other details have been kept under wraps, the movie might be related to Aster’s short film ‘Beau’ that was released in 2011. Also, it is worth noticing that the filmmaker’s upcoming film is not going to be a horror film.

The movie received 11 nominations at the Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and Phoenix went on to win Best Actor for his portrayal of the Clown Prince of Gotham.
