'Batwoman' Episode 12 titled 'Take Your Choice' will see Alice (Rachel Skarsten) and Beth (Rachel Skarsten) face the consequences of something that was brought about by Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) while she created Earth-Prime. After Kate became the Paragon of Courage, she had the responsibility of saving the multiverse by creating Earth-Prime. It is her deeprooted wish to see Beth, not as Alice but as Beth that brought Beth from another Earth onto Earth-Prime. However, in episode 11, we saw how Beth and Alice had a bad headache at the same time, possibly because two versions of the same person cannot occupy the same Earth.

In the promo of episode 12, we see Beth explain to someone that between herself and Alice, one will have to die for the other to live. We cannot expect Alice to give up on her life, not after everything that she has been through in life to keep herself safe. So where does that leave Beth?

The promo also shows Beth and Alice coming face to face for the first time and that is possibly why we hear Alice complain about how Beth did not have to live through the horrors that Alice had to in life and comparatively, how everything was far easier for Beth. Will Kate have to make a choice between Beth and Alice? Sophie possibly makes this choice for Kate because we hear her call out to Crows' agents that they are expected to capture Alice dead or alive. There is also a scene of struggle where Alice tries to get a syringe but is unable to.

While Kate, Alice, and Beth are dealing with this, Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) has his own problems to deal with at the prison. Turns out, someone that he had turned in, in the past, is also in the prison and he wants revenge. This man even approaches Jacob and the two end up in a scuffle. Will Jacob be able to come out of this unscathed?

Mary (Nicole Kang) is trying her best to help Jacob prove his innocence. However, nothing seems to be working out in Jacob's favor. In fact, at the moment, all evidence only proves that he did murder Catherine Hamilton-Kane (Elizabeth Anweis).

'Batwoman' episodes air on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
