Fans who were fortunate enough to catch the early screening of 'Batman: Caped Crusader', are sharing their opinions on social media.

Ahead of its release, a fan said that the Prime Video series, "Took me back to Watching 'Batman: The Animated Series'. This version is a lot darker and more geared towards adults, I can't wait to watch the rest of the series tomorrow on Amazon Prime."

Columnist Dan Marcus wrote in his tweet, "Batman Caped Crusader is the heir apparent to BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES. A surprisingly darker, more mature take on the Dark Knight that fully embraces its noir-ish roots. Mix in some gorgeous animation and this feels like a fresh new take on a beloved icon. Highly recommend."

Freelance writer and and reviewer Kuvin Dhillon wrote, "Batman: Caped Crusader is an impressively crafted take on Gotham's number one detective, serving as a deliciously appetizing entry point for newcomers while reigniting the brooding soul of Batman in the most complete version of the character since Nolan’s trilogy."

"Batman Caped Crusader is a worthy successor to the beloved animated series. An adult-oriented, slightly darker take on what we’ve come to expect. Hamish Linklater is a pleasant surprise as a meaner, more stoic version of Kevin Conroy’s iconic portrayal. I can’t wait to see more," tweeted Epic Film Guys, a podcast platform for film reviews.

Recommending the series to fellow fans, an X user who attended the early screening, wrote, "Batman Caped Crusader is exactly what you’d expect in a good way. Reminiscent of the original Animated Series but the 1950s vibes definitely make the show its own animal."

"Saw the first 3 episodes of Batman: Caped Crusader. It's definitely a spiritual successor to The Animated Series but more noir and more adult (PG13 language and blood). Definitely check it out if you like BTAS and Bruce Timms work on Batman," wrote another thrilled fan.
