MADRID, SPAIN: Discover secrets hidden in the Gulf of Mexico with 'Bandidos', a Spanish action-adventure series setting sail on Netflix this Wednesday, March 13.

Follow Miguel (Alfonso Dosal), a cunning treasure hunter, and his fearless partner Lilí (Ester Expósito) as they assemble a motley crew – a band of international adventurers united by a thirst for riches.

Their sights are on an unbelievable fortune buried within a sunken Spanish galleon, the remnants of a lost ship from the War of Independence. But the ocean holds more than just glittering gold. Ruthless competitors and perilous secrets threaten to capsize their entire operation.

With Miguel's resourcefulness, Lilí's daring spirit, and their crew's combined expertise, they try to navigate the treacherous waters, outrun cunning rivals, and claim their prize.

As Miguel talked to his father, a fragmented memory flickered. A young Miguel, bounced in the driving seat of his dad's car, buzzing with the thrill of a treasure hunt.

His father had parked, the stern warning echoing in his ears, "Stay here. If I'm not back in half an hour, go to Uncle Arturo's."

The memory shifted. Miguel, bored in the car, decided to explore. He found his father, crouched near a hidden crevice, eyes gleaming with excitement. Suddenly, rough hands grabbed his father, as men with determined faces surrounded him.

The archaeologists, initially seeking a historical treasure, had encountered his father uncovering a far more dangerous secret. They saw him as a threat, a loose end.

Amid danger from all directions, they desperately managed to escape after a nervy chase.

The revelation sparked a fire in Miguel. He wouldn't let his father's sacrifice go in vain. 

However, in real time, as Miguel discusses this encounter with his father, his father seems to have some hidden secrets! What was the thing archeologists were looking for in the cave?
