LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon’s awkward pictures at the photo calls for their new Netflix romantic comedy ‘Your Place or Mine’ have had Twitter trolling them non-stop for their awkwardness. And now, Kutcher has opened up on why he seems as though he has no chemistry with his co-star, and it has to do with his vasculitis diagnosis- a rare inflammatory disease. In a recent podcast called 'Chicks in the Office', Kutcher opened up on how his hearing problems had gotten him flustered and awkward.

The ’No Strings Attached’ actor, 45, had said that since he was hard of hearing in one ear because of the vasculitis, he was left overwhelmed by the noises and shouting of the hoards of photographers. “I can’t hear very well. I’m hard of hearing in one ear and I can only hear in the other,” he said. “I don’t know who’s yelling my name, but I know there’s a lot of people yelling, going, ‘Reese, Ashton, over here, over here! Look at this one, look at that one!’” He then went on to exhaustedly add, “You’re like, ‘God, this is really something.’”

“Making sure every photographer gets their shot “for like 20 minutes,” Kutcher continued, “Got it? Are we done? Awesome.” According to a report by TODAY, he expressed his uncomfortableness at having to keep smiling and keep his photo face on for a long period of time. “If you’re gonna tell me in that entire 20-minute period, at one point, you’re not gonna have an awkward face on, then you’re better than I am,” he quipped.

Witherspoon, to her credit, also seems to be taking the trolling in stride. The ‘Walk the Line’ actress had also opened up on the Twitter buzz and how Kutcher’s wife Mila Kunis had also joined in on the fun. “[Mila] even emailed us last night. She goes, ‘You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together,’” she said on her recent appearance on 'Today with Hoda and Jenna'.

Page Six reports that she also had great things to say about Kunis, stating that they were friends long before Kunis had met her husband. “I’m better friends with Mila because I had known her for a very long time,” Witherspoon explained. “It was just fun to get to know her significant other because I’ve loved her for so long.“
