In an interview with Esquire, Kutcher said, “I was f*****g pissed. I’d finally gotten to a place where the press had really laid off me and Mila [Kunis], and my life and my family. And then the next day, [the paparazzi] are at my kids’ school.”

The couple, according to the book, had threesomes while they were married. Moore claimed, as per Yahoo!, "I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be,” as she admitted to two hookups involving an unidentified third person. She wrote that this led to Kutcher cheating her with a 21-year-old woman named Brittney Jones in their marital home. She said, "Because we had brought a third party into our relationship, Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he’d done."
As per People, she wrote in her memoir, "I put him first. So when he expressed his fantasy of bringing a third person into our bed, I didn't say no. I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be." However, the act left her with feelings of "shame." She said, "They were good people, but it was still a mistake. I was strangely flooded with shame, I couldn't shake the feeling that this whole thing was somehow my fault."

She narrated in her memoir, as per USA Today, that she began drinking again after years of struggle with alcohol, thinking Kutcher wanted "the girl who could have a glass of wine at dinner, or do a tequila shot at a party. "I didn't think, 'This is a kid in his twenties who has no idea what's talking about.' I didn't think, I have nearly two decades of sobriety under my belt, and that's a huge accomplishment. Instead, I cast about justifications for his argument," Moore wrote.

Speaking about his past relationship, Kutcher, who keeps in touch with Moore’s daughters, said, "I was 26, bearing the responsibility of an eight-year-old, a 10-year-old, and a 12-year-old. That’s how some teen parents must experience their twenties." When asked about Moore’s miscarriage and IVF treatment, he said, “I love kids. I wouldn’t have gotten married to a woman that had three kids if I didn’t love kids. The idea of having another kid would have been incredible," adding, "Nothing makes you feel like a failure like divorce. Divorce feels like a wholesale fucking failure. You failed at marriage.”
