Although he took a little time off from the movies in the middle, now he is back with Primetime Emmy Award-winning actress, Reese Witherspoon for a new romantic movie on Netflix. Speaking of Ashton Kutcher's new movie, 'Your Place or Mine' is a romantic comedy film written and directed by Aline Brosh McKenna in her directorial debut.
The film stars Reese Witherspoon (who also produced) and Ashton Kutcher as best friends who decide to swap houses for a week. Jesse Williams, Zoe Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Tig Notaro, and Steve Zahn also star. 1) 'A lot like love'
Although the movie released 18 years back, it still marks to be one of the most romantic movies Kutcher has ever starred in. The romantic comedy-drama film is directed by Nigel Cole and starred Amanda Peet along with Kutcher. The screenplay by Colin Patrick Lynch focuses on two individuals whose relationship slowly evolves from lust to friendship to romance over the course of seven years.
2) 'What Happens in Vegas'
Tom Vaughan helmed film stars 'Charlie's Angels' actress, Cameron Diaz along with Kutcher. They both are seen as a couple who get married and win a casino jackpot prize during a drunken night in Las Vegas, but their simple plan to get a quick divorce and divide the money is complicated by the divorce court judge's ruling. Furthermore, what makes it even more interesting is the title of the film is actually based on the Las Vegas marketing catchphrase "What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas.
3) 'Valentine's Day'
This 2010's romantic comedy is the perfect watch before 'Your Place or Mine' releases. Directed by Garry Marshall while the screenplay and the story were written by Katherine Fugate, Abby Kohn, and Marc Silverstein. 'New Year's Eve' follows several interconnected stories of people experiencing various problems on 'New Year's Eve.'
