Ariana Grande surely had an eventful 2020 as she dropped her sixth album ‘Positions’ in October which eventually topped the charts and she also starred in the Netflix tour documentary ‘Excuse Me, I Love You.’ Now in a surprise for fans, the talented crooner teased the deluxe edition of her album ‘Positions.’

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter took to her official Twitter account to share the good news with her close to 82 million followers on the micro-blogging site. She captioned the post as, “Happy February” and shared three cryptic images to confirm her new project. Grande’s album ‘Positions’ was a follow-up to her 2019 album ‘Thank U, Next’ and before that, she had released her album ‘Sweetener’ in 2018.

Release date

The Grammy award-winning crooner did not share the release date of ‘Positions’ deluxe edition. However, since Valentine’s Day is around the corner, her fans might soon get treated with new music. MEAWW will keep you posted.

To reiterate, the chart-topping singer shared three cryptic images on her official Twitter account. The pictures included a close-up photo of a vintage television screen showing the date of January 28, 2021, a text image saying, ‘Ari Doja Meg’ along with ‘34+35’ which refers to the remix Grande had dropped earlier with the two artists in January. The third image comes with a tracklist of the ‘Positions’ album and to tease her fans, she also added four new tracks to the list but the twist is the names of upcoming fresh songs are not visible as they are scratched with black ink and fans are busy imagining the outline of words like “Lipa,” “Worst Behavior,” and “ft. BTS.” 

Tracklist

Ariana might have revealed that she will be adding four new tracks in the deluxe version, but she has still kept the names under wrap. MEAWW will keep you updated with the names.

Ariana, who enjoys a global fan following, got a stellar response the moment she teased the deluxe edition of her sixth album ‘Positions.’ A lot of fans erupted with joy as they took to Twitter to share their excitement. One fan posted, “I love her so much for announcing today... Ik she didn’t plan to take Cosby B’s shine but she did just that also why didn’t she give us any release dates???” One elated fan said, "Ariana you you can’t do this, like girl what does this even mean ?? Deluxe? Music video? Like girl my stress intake is at a max.” One individual posted, “Positions deluxe edition SHE ALWAYS DELIVERS BLESS HER SOUL.” One user slammed the singer and shared, “Okay, this is getting ridiculous. What is the whole point of releasing these deluxe editions of albums like five to six months later? All just to increase streams? Just drop it on the same day!”
