BTS' Jungkook had set the rumor mill running in 2020 when a song clip he had shared during a live stream matched with the one Grande had shared earlier. However, the band ended up working on other collaborations than Grande. They have also released multiple chartbusters since, including their first English single titled 'Dynamite'. Now, news has surfaced that the collaboration between BTS and Grande will arrive in 2021.

According to a report in Allkpop, the insider who claims to have knowledge of this development happens to be the person who also leaked other news related to the music industry such as The Weeknd's 'Blinding Lights', Ariana Grande's '34+35 (Remix)', Saweetie and Doja Cat's collaboration, Katy Perry's new music video, and Zayn's latest album. Considering how everything else has turned out to be true, this also may be true and fans are rooting for it.

Following this, two of the producers of the K-pop group had followed Grande on Instagram fuelling more rumors of their collab. Was all of this an indication of the upcoming collab? Fans thought so and hoped that the collab would materialize in real life. Grande had previously collaborated with Lady Gaga and BlackPink. She had worked with Blackpink on their song 'Ice Cream' which had featured Selena Gomez.
