Will BTS collaborate with Ariana Grande after dropping hints? Insider leaks suggest it will come out this year
BTS' Jungkook had set the rumor mill running in 2020 when a song clip he had shared during a live stream matched with the one Grande had shared earlier. However, the band ended up working on other collaborations than Grande. They have also released multiple chartbusters since, including their first English single titled 'Dynamite'. Now, news has surfaced that the collaboration between BTS and Grande will arrive in 2021.
According to a report in Allkpop, the insider who claims to have knowledge of this development happens to be the person who also leaked other news related to the music industry such as The Weeknd's 'Blinding Lights', Ariana Grande's '34+35 (Remix)', Saweetie and Doja Cat's collaboration, Katy Perry's new music video, and Zayn's latest album. Considering how everything else has turned out to be true, this also may be true and fans are rooting for it.
BTS has indicated that they would love to collaborate with Grande and speaking at the red carpet of the 2020 Grammy Awards, they confirmed the same too. The band that consists of RM, Suga, J-hope, Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook had also invited Grande to watch their choreography rehearsal when they were Los Angeles, California. In fact, while speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the band's leader RM said, "Ariana’s practicing next to our big studio and she said she wanted to see our rehearsal and what we’re doing, and we showed her … and we saw hers, so we know what she’s doing tonight and it’s the greatest."
He also added, "We always want to collaborate with Ariana. She’s one of the best.” while speaking to Billboard. Grande had also tweeted about watching BTS rehearsing and she was clearly super impressed. Some might even say that she was fangirling. Grande said, "honestly...... i was able to watch them rehearse for something and it was the most incredible thing i’ve ever seen. i’m not kidding. i was screaming. i couldn’t stop talking about it / still can’t."
