After the dramatic breakup during Season 1, Big Ed and Lizz reconnected in Season 2 and announced their quick engagement. However, Big Ed and Lizz are all set to return on TLC spinoff '90 Day: The Last Resort', and fans are curious to know if they are still together.

Big Ed met Liz at his favourite local restaurant in San Diego, where she worked as a manager. Liz is a single mom and has a young daughter, and she initially hit it off with Ed as friends.

After consulting with a dating coach on the season 1 premiere, Ed plucked up the courage to ask Liz out on a date. However, they failed to maintain a relationship due to communication issues, and Ed's insecurities.
