AOA fans confused as Mina hangs with Hyejeong after ruining group reputation with bullying rumor

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: While fans were ready to leave the scandalous past of AOA behind with leader Shin Jimin getting a fresh start, things have again riled up. Former member Kwon Mina who accused Jimin of bullying her and AOA of being complacent, was recently seen hanging out with Hyejeong. While some fans are confused with this interaction, others are angry at her Mina for ruining the group's reputation.

With bullying being extremely vicious in South Korea, he general public had immediately dropped AOA after Kwon Mina claimed that its leaer, Jimin had bullied her to a point that she had contemplated self harm and suicide. However, over the months, loopholes popped up in Mina's story and as she dragged the rumor, fans started believing AOA who claimed they were innocent. There are now those who believe Mina needs mental help while very few believe her bullying claim. This belief has increased as Mina met with AOA's Hyejeong which had fans wondering why the two would hang out if Mina was tormented.

Kwon Mina meets AOA's Hyejeong

Kwon Mina shared on her Instagram on September 11 that she had met a member of her former group. AOA's Hyejeong was seen in selfies with her as it seems that the two had spent the Chuseok holidays together in the past weekend. Mina had captioned the Instagram post as "Hyedondong." After some confusion and backlash from AOA fans who questioned her audacity of ruining Hyejeong's K-pop career, Mina has taken down the Instagram post.

AOA fans think Hyejeong is the mediator of the group as in the audio and text leaks, she had listened to Mina's bullying claims. She was also on good terms with the other members as she had met with Seolhyun and Chanmi recently. But she and all the other AOA members had all unfollowed Mina on all social media platforms after the rumors that ruined the group's reputation.

One fan was worried, "This psycopath destroyed AoA, Hyejeong career is on the trash because of her. Now this fake bitch is all smiles on Instagram with her. I bet this is just for show. She had no empathy for any of the members. Some months ago I checked their following list on Instagram and verified that every member, including Hyejeong, had unfollowed Mina. Maybe Hyejeong decided to be the better person and forgive Mina. Mina really didn't deserve it. I hope Mina learned from her past actions and won't backstab her again."

Another fan wrote, "As much as i like too say that mina seems to get better and is slowly seeming to get in contact with her past members, no one can really forgive her for ruining the future of a group’s career and harming one of the members entire reputation causing a whole country to go against her."

However, one fan said, "I remember a few days before everything went down between aoa, mina posted pics of when she was hanging out with hyejeong.......they were always close :(." But one fan tweeted, "She destroyed her friend's career & reputation but she still got the guts to call her dongdong... As a hyejeong fan this frustrates me only." Another guessed, "Mina with hyejeong… maybe the stuff between them isn’t that bad I guess."
