The newest streaming service, Quibi, will premiere the show '&MUSIC' that gives viewers an inside look at the music industry. It will feature some of the industry's biggest and most influential personalities as well as their teams that bring their shows to life. Here's everything you need to know about it.

Release date

'&MUSIC' will be available for streaming on Quibi on April 6, 2020.

Plot

'&MUSIC' (or 'and Music') is a six-episode documentary that offers viewers an insider look into what goes on behind-the-scenes in the music industry. More specifically, the show shines a spotlight on the often invisible music industry workers and collaborators that help bring some of the biggest stages to life.

Cast

The show features Ariana Grande, Ozzy Osbourne, J Balvin, DJ Martin Garrix, Anderson .Paak and YG, who will each give their respective teams — including lighting directors, choreographers, audio engineers and songwriters — the spotlight they rarely get.

Directors

'Light & Music', 'Dance & Music', 'Mind & Music' and 'Style & Music' are directed by JP Stiles & Harrison Macks. 'Audio & Music' is directed by Calmatic while 'Writing & Music' is directed by Michael D Ratner.

Producers

'&MUSIC' is produced by Michael D Ratner's OBB Pictures and Scooter Braun and JD Roth's GoodStory Entertainment.

Episodes

Each episode looks at the process of putting together a live show for some of the industry's biggest stars, including a look at how the teams that work on these shows are often down to the wire trying to pull off something that hasn't been done before. It also gives glimpses into how celebrities deal with anxiety and perform for such large audiences.

The show's six episodes each have a specific focus:

1. Light & Music (with light director and creative director Gabe Fabroni and DJ Martin Garrix)

2. Dance & Music (with choreographers and creative directors Scott and Brian Nicholson and Ariana Grande)

3. Mind & Music (with spiritual guide and mentor Ramiro Agudelo and J Balvin)

4. Audio & Music (with mix engineer Derek Ali aka MixedByAli and YG)

5. Style & Music (with fashion stylist Jasmine Benjamin and Anderson.Paak)

6. Writing & Music (with songwriter-producer-guitarist Andrew Watt and Ozzy Osbourne)
