Fans wish for HYBE to postpone Le Sserafim’s debut as new lewd photos of Kim Garam surface, alleged victims rushed to the ER after label’s statement

A lot has been going around the case of Le Sserafim (Lesserafim), the new girl group that would be making their debut with HYBE’s subsidiary Source Music. While fans of the pre-debut girl group were initially glad that both labels promptly tried to diffuse the situation with a stern statement that claimed that HYBE would be taking legal action against anyone that spoke about Kim Garam, who is still a minor, in a malicious way.

Korean users on Twitter stated that this stern statement from HYBE had gotten to one of the many alleged victims of Kim Garam and they had collapsed under immense stress which is why they had to be rushed to the emergency room. Though there is no official stand to this comment from HYBE or the victim's side, fans think that it is not possible Kim Garam is completely innocent considering the victims are not willing to back down despite HYBE’s threat in terms of legal action.

More victims rise against Kim Garam after HYBE’s statement

While the issue is not as alarming to international fans of K-pop, Knetz (Korean fans) are extremely unpleased after new photos of Kim Garam surfaced online after HYBE’s statement. Initially, it was reported that Kim Garam was a school bully back in her middle school days. It was also alleged that she engaged in extortion from students and also threatened to kill her victims at the age of 13 or less which is why fans did not believe the rumors. These allegations were coupled with a photo of Kim Garam standing in front of a chalkboard that has graphic pornographic drawings all over it.

Now, as of April 7, more lewd photos featuring Kim Garam in a school uniform have surfaced. Kim Garam was seen posing with sexual hand gestures in some of her photos that were released online. Moreover, it was also reported that her friends had been threatening the victims via Facebook which has added to the controversy around the Le Sserafim member.

Will HYBE postpone Le Sserafim’s debut?

With all these allegations around Kim Garam, fans think that HYBE would risk a lot having Le Sserafim debut next month. The label had initially announced that Le Sserafim which is an anagram for I Am Fearless will be HYBE’s first girl group to make their debut in May 2022. With this new controversy around the first member who was introduced, some fans hope that HYBE postpones the debut so as to clear the air when it comes to Kim Garam’s public reputation while others think it is best to kick her out of the girl group.

One fan said, “The best they can do is delay bc they must’ve made a bunch of content by now.” One more fan said, “Even after hybe said they’ll pursue legal action, more witnesses began to speak out against kim garam. her victims were psychologically damaged to the point one of them got admitted to the hospital cause of it and basically some other stuff was found to be true.” One fan said, “This girl better be not the reason for lesserafim's debut delay. i've waited for months for ch@ewon's debut. if this is proven true, hyb3 should just kick her out.”

If Garam is innocent then release a statement about it and let her continue her debut.. If there are really a proof her bullying then just kick her out but sometimes they can faked the proof and buy her school pictures online."
