Who is Lavender Darcangelo?

Darcangelo is a blind and autistic vocalist from Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who has gained international recognition for her exceptional musical talent. The singer, who has been on a musical journey since the age of three, was propelled into the spotlight after her rendition of "Part of Your World" from Disney's 'The Little Mermaid' went viral in 2019. Darcangelo is set to release her debut solo album, 'Mosaic', which showcases diverse musical styles like pop, jazz, rock, and country and aims to raise awareness for the autism and disability community.



 

Her commitment to making a difference extends beyond her music, as she has designated a portion of the album's proceeds to support the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation for Autism, where she is a Performing Arts Fellow. Moreover, according to her, Darcangelo lives to spend quality time with her family.
