'America's Got Talent' season 14 contestant Kodi Lee's skills impresses fans as they call him 'inspirational' and 'extremely talented'
The wait will soon be over as 'American Idol' season 14 will soon premiere.
With the season premiere on May 28, fans are anticipating a season of impeccable talent and skill that will see them rooting for their favorites.
Terry Crews who hosted 'America's Got Talent: The Champions' took the stage as the host this season after he replaced the previous host, Tyra Banks. But Banks is not the only person to be replaced, the series also introduced two new judges Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough who are replacing judges Mel B and Heidi Klum.
'America's Got Talent' season 14 recently uploaded a video on their social media pages revealing that this season will 'take your breath away'. In that video, we got a glimpse of a few contestants who auditioned for the competition. One contestant that caught the eye of fans was pianist and singer, Kodi Lee.
Lee's glimpse in the trailers have already intrigued fans and whatever they have seen of him, they seem to like quite a lot. Lee is a 22-year-old blind and autistic contestant who has an audio photographic memory. Lee can recall music he hears after just listening to it once. According to his website, Lee has been performing all across the globe for many years. Lee has been performing locally at various venues that include restaurants, wineries, and music events. He was recently even invited to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City.
The musician was born with optic nerve hypoplasia and survived a life-saving surgery when he was just five-days-old. He was later diagnosed with autism at an early age but that has never stopped Lee from pursuing his dreams. His dream is to be a rockstar and perform in front of thousands of fans.
After noticing him in the preview, fans reveal their excitement for the contestant. "Kodi Lee is AMAZING and just the kindest, sweetest soul," wrote a fan on Twitter.
While another added saying, "Blind, autistic and extremely talented? Simon's golden buzzer. Calling it right now! #GOKODI"
"I can't wait to see you be an inspiration to those with autism and disabilities. I say this as someone with Asperger's myself," wrote another fan on his Instagram handle.
Adding to that another fan commented, "Congrats you are a wonderful singer I'll be voting for u every step of the way!!!"
