Who are Sergio and Lucy?
Sergey Korolev, born in Kazakhstan, obtained his circus acrobat diploma from the Republican Studio Variety Circus Arts in Tashkent in 1981. He has performed all over the world, including in Moscow, and at circus arts festivals in Italy, the United States, Finland, Japan, and Budapest. He balances his hands with his daughter Alexandra, who began performing at the age of five under the tutelage of her father. Alexandra was also a contestant on 'Poland's Got Talent' in 2009 and 2010.
In Season 10, Sergey and Sasha's audition comprised of hand balancing and head balancing feats, such as Sasha rotating head-to-head with Sergey. The pair advanced to the Judge Cuts round after Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Howard Stern all voted "Yes." Sergey and Sasha did not compete in the Judge Cuts round, which means they either withdrew or were eliminated by the judges before this round of the competition.
Season 13 saw the return of Sergey and Sasha. Their audition consisted of hand balancing and other acrobatic feats, such as Sasha spinning around many times while balancing her head on Sergey's head and juggling a pole with her feet the second time as Sergey went up a ladder. Sergey and Sasha were sent to Judge Cuts where Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes."
Sergey and Sasha's Judge Cuts routine included acrobatic feats such as balancing on each other's hands, Sergey picking up Sasha, and Sergey balancing Sasha on his head while scaling a ladder and walking across a balance beam. They got a standing ovation from Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, Howie Mandel, and guest judge Chris Hardwick. Their performance was insufficient to advance to the Quarterfinals, and they were eliminated from the competition.
