BECKLEY, WEST VIRGINIA: 'American Idol' Season 21 on ABC network is taking us on an emotional rollercoaster. For the past few weeks Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan have been going from Nashville to New Orleans to Las Vegas to find the next big star of the music industry.
Season 21 has already introduced a lot of fresh rising artists like Hannah Nicolaisen, Ashley Tankard, We Ani, and more. The upcoming Sunday, March 19, auditions will feature more hopeful singers and one of them is a Walmart cashier Kamron Lawson. Who is Kamron Lawson?
Kamron hails from a small town called Beckley in West Virginia. He is the second youngest in a family of 6 children. Kamron was inspired by his whole family to get into music as his parents, as well as his sisters, are in the same field. Kamron has been singing since he was a young child. His father is a talented poet and his mother is an amazing singer.
It was in middle school that Kamron first realized that he has a talent for music so he joined his school choir and was encouraged by his music teacher to pursue his talent. A lot of people have supported Kamron in his dreams and have told him he has a 'beautiful voice'. Kamron works as a cashier at Walmart and is often seen singing during his working hours.
He was almost fired from his job one time for this habit. Kamron has come a long way, especially considering he was once suspended from school in seventh grade. Kamron suddenly became a viral internet sensation after he auditioned for 'American Idol' as a lot of local channels have tried to interview him.

'American Idol' Season 21 auditions will feature a West Virginia Walmart cashier Kamron. He has an R&B singing style with a pop of country in it. Though it hasn't been revealed which song Kamron chose for his audition, it has been reported that Kamrom feels it was the right song to display his vocal range. Kamron was encouraged by his family and the local community to try out for the show and was surprised when his sister filled out the audition form on his behalf.
