'American Horror Story: 1984' drops clues to suggest season 10 may involve aliens and 'Asylum' characters

Fans seem to think that the next season could be about how aliens are slowly replacing humans and taking over the world

Episode 8 of 'AHS 1984' may have had certain clues slyly put in to indicate the possibility of introducing an alien-embedded storyline in its next season. If you remember clearly, the second season (Asylum) had a major storyline in terms of 'Alien Abduction'.

Currently, 'American Horror Story: 1984' is on its last episode of season 9 which will be airing this week. After all the bloodcurdling episodes featured this year, perhaps, it is time to move on to more popular supernatural elements— Aliens!

The first clue was when the reporter in 'AHS 1984' (Ep 8), mentions 'cryptids' while talking to Donna and Brooke. She also goes on to tell them how people in the 70s only cared about bigfoot, aliens and Loch Ness monster. Another clue was slipped in when Dylan McDermott went on a ranting spree about how Mary Kay was taking over the world.

At the risk of stretching it a bit, this may be an indication that the next season could be about how aliens are slowly replacing humans and taking over the world. A similar concept was observed in the film 'The Invasion' which was based on the novel 'Body Snatchers'.

We are all familiar with the timeline system of the AHS universe and also how certain seasons fit into the chronology. If season 10 takes place around the '90s, then the 'Alien' storyline would fit in as a repercussion of the events that went down in Asylum.

The most significant part about this storyline is the fact that during the '90s, there were several cases of alien activity and UFO sightings. Like that was the decade of hyper publicization of these kinds of activities gaining momentum with 'The Belgium Wave' and the 'Phoenix Lights'.

So, going back to 'AHS Asylum', it was clear that the aliens wanted to impregnate humans and their intentions were quite clear with Kit being whisked away by aliens, and his kids with extraterrestrial DNA were left behind.

Kit Walker's children were a result of alien insemination and around 1990 they would be of the age between 32-40. In episode 100, how could we forget that they mentioned Briarcliff! ('AHS: 1984'). What if they were to take over the world?

That would make them the lead characters in the season and the fans would certainly have something to cheer about!
