'Almost a Logan Paul vs Andrew Tate moment': Internet in awe of WWE star's epic Royal Rumble match
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS: After being out of action for almost three months due to a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus, Logan Paul made a grand return to the ring at the WWE Royal Rumble event on January 28. Returning to the match as entrant number 29, Paul had the crowd swaying on their feet, and a moment involving him and Ricochet had the audience exclaim, “Holy s**t!”
WWE tweeted the "unbelievable moment" with the caption, "WHAT DID WE JUST WITNESS?!?" As seen in the video, during the match, Paul and Ricochet went springboard from opposite sides of the ring to collide mid-air before crashing down, prompting the commentator to exclaim, "What a collision! What the hell just happened!"

In 2022, before Tate's arrest, The Maverick and Top G had, on several occasions, taken digs at each other, with Paul even challenging Tate to a fight in the UFC Octagon. Speaking on the 'Timbo Sugarshow' podcast, Paul said, "Let us step into the f*****g octagon, brother. An MMA fight, me vs. Tate, in the UFC…What are you f*****g running from?”
Meanwhile, several other fans applauded the "unbelievable" moment. "What a moment!" wrote one user, while a second commented, "That was so dope." "That was cool!", wrote a third user, while another commented, "Omg smashed".
Several others also shared memes to express how they enjoyed the epic collision. "That was wild," social media influencer Christine Smoke wrote. Another netizen appriciated Paul's dramatic return to the ring. "Absolutely insane how good Logan is 9 months in. Dislike him as a person but incredible in WWE. Great performance. Logan vs Seth would be great. Cody vs Gunther rn," a person chipped in.
