Andrew Tate complains about 'cockroaches, lice and bed bugs' as he rants about prison conditions
BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate is being held in a Romanian prison under suspicion that he and three other suspects had created “an organised crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialised websites for a cost.” Tate has been allowed the luxury of communicating with fans. In his first letter since detainment, he has gone on to complain about prison conditions, cockroaches and a lack of natural light, amongst other things.
The social media influencer and former kickboxer has been held along with his brother, Tristan, and two other Romanian nationals. Investigations are underway as to whether or not Tate had any links to the rape and sex trafficking allegations. According to BBC, a statement issued by the Romanian Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism stated that officers identified six people affected by what it deemed "an organized criminal group." The survivors were "recruited" through misrepresentation and were then forced to perform in pornography under threat.

LadBible reported that in his letter to fans, Tate has opened up about his "daily lessons from an unjust imprisonment." He reportedly stated that he had been "thrown into a cell without light" and that with his poor prison cell conditions, the authorities were "trying to break" him. He added that his cell had "cockroaches, lice and bed bugs."
Further, Tate said that he had cooperated with the authorities in every regard and that, "When the guards bring me to and from the courtroom, I stay absolutely respectful.” He accused the authorities of trying to pour "hatred into my heart," and asked his fans to stay by him through this time.
"Our prison guards are just performing their jobs, they have families to feed in times of hardship. Do not forget your manners…They are trying to break my Iron Mind with unjust imprisonment. My absolute respect for everyone around me is my act of absolute rebellion…They cannot break me," he wrote. He had also posted a tweet inviting fans to email him as he received access to email.

Tate’s remarks about his prison cell’s conditions come as no surprise, as Romanian prison cells are renowned for being filthy. It has also been revealed that the inmates have no choice but to stay in those cells at all times apart from the one hour they were allowed outdoor for "recreation."
