DETROIT, MICHIGAN: WWE legend Kevin Nash appears to be going through an emotionally dark phase after the three-month anniversary of his son's tragic death, sparking concerns that the six-time world champion may be having suicidal thoughts. The 63-year-old wrestler lost his son Tristen, 26, in October 2022 after he had seizures and went into cardiac arrest which the doctors believe could have been a result of quitting alcohol cold turkey, Nash said.
The WWE Hall of Famer addressed his son's death on a recent episode of his podcast 'Kliq This' and made worrying comments alluding to thoughts of self-harm. “Today is week 12 that I lost my boy,” he said, adding, “Time flies when you got a gun in your mouth — I mean, time flies when you’re having fun,” reported New York Post. Nash's cohost Sean Oliver was quick to stop him and said, “Don’t play like that.” “You have guns so you can’t say those things,” Oliver said. To which, Nash replied with another disturbing comment, “I can do whatever the f–k I wanna do. Long as I leave a note.”

Furthermore, Nash detailed how he has been struggling to wake up every day to the realization that his son is no longer with him. “Every morning when I wake up, the first thing that happens is, I come to the realization that instead of there being three human beings in my home, there’s now two,” Nash said, adding, “And the third person isn’t on vacation or staying with friends, or is out late. He is never coming back," reported the source. "And then I sit up in the bed and I have absolutely nothing I have to do, and it’s like, ‘so, why am I getting out of bed?’” he asked.
Nash's fans were quick to show the WWE champion their love and support. One user wrote, "We love you Big Kev. I can't imagine what you're going through, but... Please stick around for all the people who love you. There are at least a few million of us, I'm sure."
Another insisted, "We love you, Kevin. Please keep fighting and stay with us." One added, "Kev, I love you and hope you keep talking it out. Don't do anything drastic."
