‘All American’ Season 3 Episode 1 Spoilers: Can Coop trust Tyrone's sister and was Patience sexually assaulted?

Monique ‘Mo’ Moore, Tyrone's sister is back in town, and her entry may spell doom for the two characters

Why are Tamia Cooper (Bre-Z) and Patience (Chelsea Tavares) fighting? The CW's soapy football series ‘All American’ is back with all the love, relationship woes and drama. It's only the first episode of season three and one couple already seems to have trouble in their paradise. 

Monique "Mo" Moore (Erica Peeples), Tyrone's sister is back in town, and her entry may spell doom for the two characters. Titled ‘Seasons Pass’, the summary of the new episode reads, “Spencer finds himself on the defense after an interview he gave comes out, upsetting his old teammates; Coop and Layla return from tour; Billy is excited for a fresh start at South Crenshaw High.”

After the summer vacation, a lot has changed. As soon as Coop realizes Tyrone's sister is here, there is concern on her face. Meanwhile, it seems like Patience is jealous of Coop and, in one scene, ​the two have an argument. “It's not that I don't trust you. I'm just trying to protect you,” Patience tells Coop and right then, the latter finds out that Preach got released.

Fans are worried about their relationship and feel that it has become quite "toxic". "COOP ALREADY STARTED A FIGHT WITH HER GF," one fan said and another posted, "#AllAmerican Why coop always up in everybody's business??? she finna drag Patience AND Layla down with her." Talking to Patience, a third wrote, "Nah, you ain’t paranoid Coop. I believe Tyrone’s sister after you too. #AllAmerican."

As the episode comes to a close, Mo meets Coop and apologizes for her brother's actions. But is she trying to play a long game or is she really sorry? Only time will tell. Fans feel she has an agenda and that Coop shouldn't trust her. "

"COOP no that’s Tyrone sister. U got her brother killed ain’t no way she trying to make good relationships with u #AllAmerican," one tweet read and another said, "Coop don’t trust Tyrone sister. Don’t be dumb again. #AllAmerican."

Moreover, others are worried about what happened to Patience as some feel she was sexually assaulted by Layla's dad. "I need to know what happened with patience cause I know jp did not hurt my girl," one tweet read and another said, "Patience was sexually assaulted by Layla’s dad." A third wrote, "Let me guess Coop is going to have Tyrone's sister help Patience put Layla's dad in jail for sexual assault... #AllAmerican."

‘All American’ Season 3 is scheduled to premiere with its first episode on January 18. The CW announced the estimated schedule for its fall shows and the series is slated for the 8 pm to 9 pm time slot on Mondays. Going by the previous seasons, this one should also come with 16 episodes.

If you're wondering when it will premiere on Netflix, you'll have to be patient. The series drops on the streaming site only once all episodes have finished airing weekly on The CW.
