'Alaskan Bush People': Bam, Bear and Gabe join forces to insulate windmill, get water running on ranch again

Last week, Bear was seen trying to put in all efforts as well as some theatrics while trying to repair their windmill's broken pushrod

The Browns are always building. For 12 straight seasons 'Alaskan Bush People' has revolved around the Brown family who make all efforts to live as natural a life as possible even in today's time and age. This also means that the family always has found something or the else to construct with their own hands, make it feel like they won't be able to complete the task due to difficulties, go ahead to complete it anyway and then heroically celebrate the win.

This week they were seen repairing the windmill for "saving their ranch" that stood a chance of running out of water completely. Audiences know (and bash the family) that everything is a danger and every season they need to "battle" conditions that risk the safety of their home that stands in the "life-threatening cold" mountains (we all know that's not the truth). Patriarch Billy never appears in any episodes with his children. His one job is to use his quivering voice to its full potential while narrating the "dangers" that stand ahead of their ranch and how things could spiral if the family didn't work towards doing something about it. This week too, Billy quite convincingly narrated what would happen if they ran out of water.

The premise of Sunday's episode, titled 'Water to Ice' on Discovery read,  “A deep freeze halts the water supply, sending the ranch into a new crisis. And with a critical load of lumber delivered to the base of their mountain, the Wolfpack must problem-solve to get their house back on track.” Last week, the push rod of the windmill on their ranch had broken down and Bear had put in his efforts mixed with some theatrics to repair it. However, there was more than one problem. The pipes of the windmill were completely frozen and it resulted in the water supply at the ranch being completely cut off. Bam, Bear and Gabe decided to combine forces as the family was left with just three days of water supply and they had to get the job done before that.

Bear was able to come up with an idea that using his blankets as insulation for the windmill would get the job done. The next morning, even though not it full force, the waters started running back in their pipes and the family was relieved to have the problem out of their way. When all of this was airing on TV, audiences took to Twitter to express how they felt watching it. "Ok that’s enough for me I don’t want to become as stupid as them@boys are #AlaskanBushPeople," wrote a fan.

"Awww bear...just how many times were you dropped on your head as a baby? #AlaskanBushPeople," wrote another.

"Bear is totally PSYCHO #AlaskanBushPeople," wrote a fan.

"#AlaskanBushPeople this show is an inch away from being unwatchable," commented another.
