'Survivor' Season 50 is shaping up to be one thrilling season! After Season 49 winner Savannah Louie's early exit in the last episode, this week, another strong contestant fell victim to changing alliances and unexpected changes. This story contains spoilers.

Episode 3, titled 'Did You Vote For a Swap?' aired on Wednesday and delivered a major twist: a tribe swap that shuffled the 21 castaways into new tribes. Season 50's first tribe swap caused major disruptions as host Jeff Probst asked (or rather rapped) the castaways to 'drop your buffs,' along with their pre-planned strategies and alliances. The result was that Q Burdette, the 31-year-old real estate agent from Germantown, Tennessee, became the third contestant to be voted out of the show, after receiving at least four votes.

On Day 7, the tribes were reshuffled, breaking old alliances and forming new ones. The result was that the Cila tribe now had Charlie, Kamilla, Dee, Rizo, Rick, Jonathan, and Cirie.

The Kalo tribe featured Aubry, Colby, Joe, Genevieve, Tiffany, Chrissy, and Coach. Lastly, the Vatu tribe included Emily, Christian, Ozzy, Mike, Angelina, Stephenie, and Q. The swap's effect was that it brought the 'David vs. Goliath' threesome - Mike, Angelina, and Christian - back in the same tribe and ready to strategize against a common threat.

Q also lost the strong position he had held in his last tribe and feared he could become a target of the D&G trio. So, he tried his best to earn Emily, Ozzy, and Stephenie's trust, but Emily wasn't having it.

Things got worse for Q after his tribe lost the immunity challenge and headed to the Tribal Council. Moreover, Q's past image as a chaotic player due to his unpredictable gameplay in Season 46 came back to haunt him this season. The D&G trio clearly had it out for Q from the start.

He was aware of that and tried his controversial tactic from Season 46 - ask to get voted out to prove his loyalty (we suppose). When Mike suggested that he might vote out Stephenie, Q asked 'The White Lotus' creator to vote him out instead, telling him, "Stephenie is my number one."

Moreover, Ozzy, Stephenie, and he had planned to eliminate Angelina, leaving Emily to decide between sending off Angelina or Q. She sided with the D&G trio and even convinced Ozzy to join them and vote out Q. Moreover, Q couldn't cast his vote this week due to an earlier loss, leaving him defenseless.

After Jeff read the votes, Stephenie was the only one to vote for Angelina, and the rest of the tribe voted out Q. Stay tuned to find out who will be eliminated next. The latest episodes of 'Survivor 50' air at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesdays on CBS. The episodes will also drop on Paramount+ the next day.
