'AGT' Season 18: Teen dancer Mariandrea sends fans into frenzy with adult-like contortion moves: 'Cat Woman vibes'

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: The thrill of 'America's Got Talent' auditions continued in Episode 6 of its 18th season, where a fresh wave of performers vies for the coveted $1 million prize. Guided by the expertise of executive producer Simon Cowell, the judging panel features the incredible Sofia Vergara, the fashion icon Heidi Klum, and the comedic genius Howie Mandel. The charismatic Terry Crews resumes his role as the host, adding his unique energy to the show.

Among the remarkable talents that impressed the judges was a 14-year-old dancer from Mexico, who took the stage accompanied by her parents. With her mesmerizing contemporary dance skills, she captivated both the judges and the passionate 'AGT' fans, who quickly dubbed her as the potential next Cat Woman, noting the resonance of her moves.

'You were dancing and acting at the same time'

Mariandrea, a 14-year-old dancer from Mexico, astounds the biggest audience she's ever performed for with her captivating contemporary dance to the ballad version of 'Mad World.' Displaying remarkable flexibility and a dramatic flair, she even showcased her contortion skills. Despite her slightly intimidating presence, she aims to inspire young women to pursue their dreams. As the performance ended, a brief silence filled the air before the crowd and judges erupted in a standing ovation. Sofia expressed her surprise, remarking, "You were dancing and acting at the same time." Heidi recognized Mariandrea's newfound confidence, stating, "All of a sudden she's possessed... you can hold your own." Simon acknowledged her undeniable talent, stating, "I think you are unbelievably talented." Howie was also mesmerized by her magical presence, declaring, "It was like magic watching you. You were magnificent." With unanimous approval, Mariandrea received four "yeses" from the judges and moved onto the next round.



 

'Can be the next cat woman'

'AGT' fans were not just impressed, but also very hopeful about a bright future ahead of her. One said, "There's something about her confidence and expression. Great talent, great performer." Another fan added, "She is giving me major cat woman vibes!!"  Another one said, "Captivating. I couldn’t blink through the whole performance, not wanting to miss a thing. She is a phenomenal dancer and so inspirational. Thanks for teaching this 60 year old woman that life and dreams are limitless." One fan commented, "Stunned. I would have given her a golden buzzer. The sharpness, flexibility, timing, theatrics, and costume use. 10/10." Some even pointed out, "ith such talent and age, even if she don't win agt, she will have dance companies, theaters, casting directors lining up for her!" Another echoed similar sentiments, "Her confidence and raw expression is out of this world, especially for her age!! She has a bright future ahead. She already contorts like an adult." Another fan chimed in saying, "That kid is going to be a HUGE star, movies, film clips everything. INCREDIBLE!!"
