PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 continues to dish out talent, both good and terrible. Some of the 15 acts performed tonight for judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara received four buzzers, indicating that they did not need to be voted for. The act's conclusion is indicated by four buzzers. There were some contestants, though, who got three or four 'yes' votes and could go in the tournament. On the Tuesday, July 18 audition, while contestant Enishi received three of the four 'yes' votes, it seems like fans were truly disappointed as it lacked 'action' and just wasn't 'entertaining' for some.

Enishi is a Japanese face-changer who alters his appearance by donning masks. He plays with humor throughout his act. He sometimes uses video games to influence his face expressions.

'That was really creepy'

Sofia questioned Enishi, who ignored her. He went to his audition wearing a disguise that he changed often. It's similar to rapid change but with face masks. They appeared strangely real but uncannily valley-like. He wore masks of each of the judges' faces, 'creeping' them out.

"That was really creepy," Sofia commented. "You’re cute," she added. Enishi informed the judges he was from Japan and his ambition was to win 'AGT'. He sells mobile phones during the day. "I liked it," Howie stated. Heidi described it as "super original." Simon loved the act but felt it lacked 'a wow factor'. The audience 'booed' when Simon said 'no'. Enishi pleaded. But Sofia answered 'yes', so he had 3 'yes' votes.

'This is just weird'

Not everyone seemed happy with the audition, as one viewer wrote on Instagram, "Honestly, I think it’s a gimmick when they do the judges face or the act from last year that did CGI faces on singers. That doesn’t get nearly the reaction in Vegas when judges aren’t in the room." One complained, "That guy needs decaf he is way too hyper." Another chimed in, "The worst version of the talent shows is the US version, BGT is waayyyy better." A fourth user claimed, "This is just weird😂."

People on YouTube also threw jabs at the performance as they wrote, "Can't win a gb when "one of your faces" is hanging outta your neck 1:04." Another person asked, "1:32 um…when he puts his hands over the mask, the face glitches, just like a filter would on TikTok. Did agt SERIOUSLY filter a mask of Simon’s face?!" While some claimed, "1:04 You can see the previous mask stuck in his neck. This was a miss for me. It's just not entertaining. Not enough action for me."

Tune into NBC on Tuesdays to catch new episodes of 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 at 8 pm ET.
