Ricky Gervais marks his return with Netflix's new upcoming dark comedy 'After Life', and his return is as "Ricky Gervais" as it can get. Twitter followers of 'The Office' alum know the little concern he shows about what people think of him, and the description of the protagonist of the upcoming comedy sounds just like him. Netflix described the upcoming six-episode sitcom as revolving around a character named Tony, played by Gervais, who at the beginning of the show has a "perfect life."
"But after his wife Lisa suddenly dies, Tony changes," read the show's description.
