'Not Dead Yet' Ep 1 & 2 review: Gina Rodriguez's return doesn't help bringing life to the ABC series

What is the plot behind 'Not Dead Yet'?

TV writers Casey Johnson and David Windsor have yet again made a comeback with the comedy show 'Not Dead Yet. Gina Rodriguez plays Nell, a recently single reporter who returns to her California newspaper ten years after she left to follow a love interest to London, in 'Not Dead Yet,' which aired on February 8. She landed on the desk for obituaries. She's told, "Everyone has a story. It's your job to find it." We quickly saw that the ghost of her first story soon paid her a visit. One of the ghosts Nell encounters is a jingle writer who educates her about one-hit wonders. Other ghosts she encounters include a hard-charging success coach who explains not all advice is helpful and a social media influencer who triggers painful memories of high school.
