SAYULITA, MEXICO: 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 9 is not airing this week because of Thanksgiving, but fans aren't missing any chance to discuss ABC's dating show.

However, while fans shed light on the rules of the dating show, some eagle-eyed viewers noticed that none of the contestants wear sunglasses in paradise, despite the blazing heat.

Well, it looks like the production house has some strict rules for the show. The villa does not have AC in it, so the stars don't spend their time sleeping in comfort inside the house.

Moreover, sunglasses are allegedly restricted from being worn on the show because the viewers could easily see the reflection in their glasses.

A fan took to the Reddit thread saying, "2 questions that puzzle me."

He further added, "1. Why doesn’t the resort have A/C? 2. Could anyone imagine signing up for a week-long holiday on a Mexican beach in the summer and agreeing to not wear sunglasses? Ouch."

A user answered this question, "I read somewhere that the no A/C is so the cast stays outside - which means more drinking, interacting, and drama! it would be easy to take a nap and sleep all day in nice A/C on a hot beach but they do it on purpose to keep everyone together."

Another wondered in shock, "No sunglasses is a rule?" To this, a user replied, "Yes- the producers don’t want the cameras to be reflected in the lenses."

Another slammed 'Bachelor in Paradise's strict rules, "I was just talking about the sunglasses thing. My eyes are extremely sensitive, so there is no way I'd ever be able to do it."
